Product Manager – Fulfilment (viagogo Inc., New York, NY)
Use business intelligence data to oversee work backlog and project workflow for a team of engineers. Lead the analytical evaluation of strategic business opportunities and initiatives across product and operations. Create product initiatives that work across departments based on insights from business data. Become a champion of company’s value and culture. Design new products and changes to existing products, including detailed specifications of technical details and user experience. Track, manage, and reduce costs within a designated business area. Build roadmap for the business area across quarters. Lead contract negotiations and relationships with vendors. Identify, analyze, and prioritize growth opportunities for the company. Collaborate using strong communication skills including written and verbal with cross-functional teams across the organization. Understand internal fulfilment product and tech stack including database configurations in SQL, error logs in Kusto and customer experience flows represented through QA testing and wire Frames. Apply technical insights to trends in ticket industry to determine long term strategy to ticket fulfilment. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to viagogo Inc. at 3 World Trade Center – 175 Greenwich Street, 59th Floor, New York, NY 10007. Salary: $140,000-$175,000 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field., plus 3 years of professional experience as a BI Analyst, Product Manager, Associate, or any occupation/position/job title involving technical business analysis.
Must also have experience in the following: 2 years of professional experience coaching team members to deliver desired outcomes in line with company standards; 3 years of professional experience explaining technical business intelligence concepts to non-technical product stakeholders; 3 years of professional experience using business intelligence data to identify opportunities, threats, and competition to drive business decisions; 3 years of professional experience with participating in vendor contract negotiations and vendor relationship management including working with shipping carriers including UPS & Fedex; 3 years of professional experience using SQL, Snowflake, Kusto, and data visualization tools (including PowerBI) to conduct business intelligence data analysis; 3 years of professional experience managing tech backlogs through software including Jira or Visual Studios; 3 years of professional experience working on ticket industry specific product solutions including third party primary vendor integrations; and 3 years of professional experience using advanced statistical methods to assess AB Test experiments.
