StubHub is looking for a Senior 3D Design Engineer to design and develop next-generation visual assets for StubHub. As a Design Engineer at StubHub, you will be at the forefront of tackling significant, ambiguous, and non-trivial challenges as a core contributor and innovator, bringing creative technical solutions to life. To ensure our company's success, our engineers must demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm for the problems they tackle.
As a Senior 3D Design Engineer, you will lead the creation and development of high-quality 3D assets, powering a differentiated experience for millions of ticket buyers at various points during the ticket buying journey. About the team:
The Catalog Team forms the foundation of the StubHub consumer experience and is at the heart of our mission, to connect people with unforgettable experiences. The team is responsible for sourcing and categorizing data as part of the ingestion process, efficiently and meaningfully storing ever-growing stream of data and finally exposing the data to the end-user through comprehensive set of scalable and intuitive interfaces. At a foundational level, Catalog Team aspires to act as an innovation engine for downstream teams - powering the enrichment of experiences on front-end within Consumer Experience, enabling innovative strategies for Customer Service and facilitating more relevant ads for Performance Marketing. Finally, as the source for all visual assets (images, maps, view from seat), Catalog has a pivotal role in changing the look and feel of StubHub’s website, serving millions of users a month with engaging visual assets.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the creation and development of high-quality 3D assets for our platform using 3DS Max or other similar 3D modeling tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and developers to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into our website.
- Provide technical expertise in the development and optimization of 3D models, ensuring optimal performance across various platforms and applications.
- Actively contribute innovative ideas to enhance our visual experiences, resulting in best-in-class visual assets
What You've Done:
- 5+ years of professional experience in an agile, innovative environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
- Expert proficiency in 3DS Max and other relevant 3D modeling software
- Strong understanding of design principles, composition, and attention to detail
- Curated a portfolio showcasing your previous work in 3D asset creation
- Experience in leading and building solutions to ambiguous problem

The anticipated gross annual base salary range for this role is $200,000 – $275,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which also includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
