This hybrid work role is in our New York office at 3 WTC. It has a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote schedule.

What You've Done

    • 2+ years of experience in an analyst role, specializing in working with financial data.
    • Extensive track record of successfully leading cross-functional and cross-team work, managing high-impact projects, collaborating with fellow stakeholders, and ensuring timely project delivery.
    • Assume full ownership of complex problem areas, define their scope, and adopt a product-centric mindset.
    • Exhibit confidence in taking responsibility for end-to-end project delivery, regardless of the outcome or shortcomings of others. Deliver constructive feedback and learn from mistakes.
    • Processes strong project management expertise, ensuring their timely execution and adherence to project milestones.
    • Proficiency in Excel and basic understanding of SQL with a desire to learn more.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
    • Perform under pressure with a positive attitude. Be a team player! 

What You'll Do

    • You will take the lead in managing our discounts domain and overseeing all projects originating from it. Future projects encompass the integration of both 1st and 3rd party gift card vendors and the automation of end-to-end reconciliation for various discount types.
    • Collaborate with multiple departments, upstream operations teams, and downstream finance stakeholders.
    • Facilitate discussions, present findings, and translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights.
    • Develop a clear understanding of finance and business requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for other analysts and engineers.
    • Accountable for ensuring the integrity and precision of journals entries relating to outgoing payments. While our journal entries are fully automated, you would be responsible for building the logic behind them, coordinating with the engineering team and aligning with expected accounting outcomes.
    • Collaborate closely with fellow analysts on the team. You must be adept at leading projects without being limited by formal hierarchies. Your ability to effectively guide others, regardless of their reporting structure, is essential.

$120,000 - $140,000 a year
The anticipated annual salary range for this role is $120,000 – $140,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which also includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
