Supply Product Manager (viagogo Inc., New York, NY)
Lead the design of systems that support new product features and oversee the resolution of problems in collaboration with engineers. Develop roadmaps that balance short-term optimization with long-term strategic investments. Develop and evaluate new systems and functionalities that improve key aspects of customer experience through improving how well supply is matched to venues, categories, events, and sections while reducing errors, lowering seller compensation, and driving key indicators. Sunset and iterate against inefficient features. Engage in root cause analysis using various data analytics tools and methodologies to identify and eliminate the cause of breaks and fix issues resulting in improved system performance. Guide the design of systems that support new product features and oversee the resolution of problems in collaboration with engineers. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, copywriters, data scientists, operation leads, and management to foster a common team identity. Supervise daily team operations, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines. Develop fluency in the underlying architecture, codebase, and technologies of the product platform. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to viagogo Inc., 3 World Trade Center, 175 Greenwich Street, 59th Floor, New York, NY 10007. Salary: $147,285 - $165,000 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field 3 years professional experience as a IT Architect, Systems Consultant, Operations Manager or any occupation/position/job title involving the design, development, and evaluation of systems and product features.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of professional experience, the employer will accept 5 years of professional experience as a IT Architect, Systems Consultant, Operations Manager or any occupation/position/job title involving the design, development, and evaluation of systems and product features.
Must also have the following special skills: 3 years of professional experience designing, developing, and evaluating systems and product features and performing root cause analysis to identify and eliminate breaks and fix issues resulting in improved system performance; 3 years of professional experience utilizing programming languages including SQL, Python, and VBA; 3 years of professional experience with managing budgets; 3 years of professional experience developing and evaluating new systems and functionalities that improve key aspects of customer experience; and 3 years of professional experience using various data analytics tools and methodologies including SQL Server Management Studio and Excel.
