In this role, we are looking for a creative and strategic thinker who will design, develop, and implement impactful training solutions. The Instructional Designer role plays a pivotal part in shaping employee development, empowering our customer service team with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional fan experience. This Full-Time position may require weekend, holiday, daytime, and/or evening hours.
This role will begin as in-office 5 days per week for the first 3-6 months and then will shift to in-office 3 days per week to ensure cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Conduct needs analyses to identify performance gaps and areas for training development.
- Partner with subject matter experts to gather, structure, and translate complex information into engaging learning experiences.
- Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, simulations, job aids, assessments, videos, and other resources, adhering to adult learning principles.
- Manage and execute training projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with overall goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and retention of training programs using a variety of metrics and recommend changes for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of instructional design trends and best practices.

- Drives results: Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy)to create content that motivates and empowers others to accomplishobjectives.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information for a broader audience.
- Detail Oriented: Demonstrates a meticulous attention to detail in content creation, ensuring accuracy and consistency in communication of business policy and procedure.
- Driven: Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and timelines to meet deadlines, while remaining flexible to adapt to business needs.
- Tech savvy: Readily learns and adopts new technologies including a variety of e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
- Situational adaptability: Ability to innovate, collaborate, and adapt to the changing needs of the business.
- Self-development: Ability to innovate, learn, and adjust to meet the position’s needs. Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels.
What You've Done
- 2+ years of experience in instructional design or a related field.
- Experience with communications (i.e., memos, newsletters, etc.), graphic design, and authoring tools (i.e., Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, Articulate Storyline, Web 2.0, etc.).
- Experience with adult learning principles and methodologies.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Experience designing and developing training programs for customer service or call center environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
