Senior Product Manager – Localization & Compliance (viagogo Inc., New York, NY)
Drive the Localization & Compliance product area within the Core Experience ecosystem to launch innovative software features that enhance user experience using QL, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Liquid, Snowflake, KQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and web technologies. Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, copywriters and data scientists and foster a common team identity rooted in customer and business success. Foster creative and innovative software feature ideation within the team and stimulate participation from all members. Develop frameworks to prioritize features based on sound estimations of business value and complexity. Utilize hypothesis-driven experimentation (including multivariate testing) to assess cause and effect without bias. Analyze user data and make sound inferences to answer questions and support decision-making. Develop fluency in the underlying software architecture, codebase and technologies of the product platform. Improve workflows and processes across the product development lifecycle by either streamlining or automating them. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to viagogo, Inc., 3 World Trade Center – 175 Greenwich Street, 59th floor, New York, NY 10007. Salary: $169,229 - $220,000 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Management, Cognitive and Decision Sciences, or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as Software Developer, Product Manager, Operations Manager, or other occupation/position/job title involving computer applications. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Management, Cognitive and Decision Sciences, or related field plus 3 years of professional experience as Software Developer, Product Manager, Operations Manager, or other occupation/position/job title involving computer applications.
Must also have the following special skills: 3 years of professional experience working on computer applications for localization operations including content creation and management, translations creation and submission quality control; 3 years of professional experience with SQL stored procedures and server agent jobs to debug and make improvements to computer applications; 3 years of professional experience working with language complexities and technical solutions to globalize a product to accommodate for multiple languages, including CCJK and Right-to-Left languages; 2 years of professional experience utilizing UX principles, as well as prototyping best practices and capabilities and limitations of web technologies; 2 years of professional experience utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Jira, Figma, Abstract, Chrome DevTools, Adobe Photoshop, Power BI, Visual Studio, Postman, and Trello; and 2 years of professional experience utilizing SQL, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Liquid, Snowflake, and KQL.
