StubHub's Core Experience (CX) team is responsible for the end-to-end product experience for fans looking to discover, buy, and sell tickets to their favorite live events through our web and mobile platforms. As the Senior User Experience Researcher for Core Experience, you will create a deep understanding and empathy for our users and deliver research insights that inform business, product, and design decisions. 

Design is growing at StubHub, and this role will allow you to directly impact millions of fans who interact with our platform daily. What You'll Do

    • Identify and prioritize research questions that drive business progress 
    • Design and execute research projects ranging from generative to evaluative studies  
    • Enable teams to gain a holistic understanding of user needs by marrying qualitative and quantitative data 
    • Collaborate with product teams to integrate research insights into strategic and tactical decision-making 
    • Measure and track the product impact on the evolution of user behavior and sentiment over time  
    • Establish research best practices, processes, and methodological toolkits 
    • Equip cross-functional partners with resources and guidance for independent research and data analysis  

What You've Done

    • 8+ years of user research experience, with experience in a lead role for a large product area  
    • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience 
    • Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.). 
    • Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process. 
    • Exceptional in communicating user research findings, with an ability to influence strategy and decision-making  
    • Experience in systematically defining and measuring quality is a plus. 
    • A strong desire to learn and grow with the company 
    • A team-first mindset that prioritizes the success of the company 
    • Resilience and adaptability in response to changes and challenges 
    • Proactivity in solving problems and identifying opportunities to improve
