The Equity Administration Analyst, reporting to the Director of Equity Accounting, is responsible for administering the employee equity plans and grants, and related accounting treatment under US GAAP.  This role will be preparing SEC financial statements and related disclosures relating to equity, as well as maintenance of the employee equity database. The Equity Administration Analyst will provide critical insight, data and analysis in support of StubHub’s accounting and compensation functions. Key to the success of the role will be development of a close, continuous partnership with key stakeholders throughout our Finance, People, Payroll, Legal and Internal Audit teams to effectively execute against StubHub’s accounting and reporting requirements.

What You'll Do:

    • Own US GAAP accounting related to equity grants including valuation, modifications, and expense recognition
    • Support SEC financial reporting and accounting/audit activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including preparation of month-end journal entries
    • Effectively administer and monitor StubHub’s equity plans through Shareworks, the Company’s equity administration platform
    • Ensure required tax withholding calculations for equity awards are accurate and timely for all  employees, US and international
    • Assist with employee inquiries on all issues related to equity compensation
    • Maintain capitalization tables and other share recordkeeping activities
    • Preparation of support for management reporting and regulatory filings
    • Work closely with the Finance, People, Payroll, Legal, and Internal Audit teams to coordinate and communicate changes
    • Own and effectively execute controls in accordance with SOX program

What You've Done:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance, required
    • 2-3 years experience in a related accounting, audit or finance position, required
    • Working knowledge of ASC 718, 505, 260, and 230, required
    • CPA, CPA track, CEP or CEP track, preferred
    • Experience with corporate equity programs handling complex performance-based vesting awards, preferred
    • Experience with SEC reporting and other regulatory filings, preferred
    • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, lookups and SUMIFs
    • Experience with financial models such as DCF, Black Scholes and Monte Carlo simulations, preferred

$92,050 - $106,950 a year
The anticipated gross base annual salary range for this role is $92,050 – $106,950 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
