StubHub is seeking a Catalog Sports Carveout Operations team member who will help publish, manage, and maintain data for our global catalog, specifically emphasizing global sports events. This role will be responsible for publishing, maintaining, and managing event-level data for StubHub’s event & venue map catalogs in accordance with the sports landscape. This person will cross-functionally work within the North American business operations group with product, customer service, supply, and fulfillment to drive a world-class ticketing catalog.
The Catalog Sports Operations role will be based in New York City. This is a hybrid position.
What You'll Do
- Have strong organizational skills – juggling multiple projects and objectives at once.
- Be a passionate fan of all things live entertainment with a specific interest in sports.
- Create all top-tier league schedules in draft form using division, conference, and league schedule creation logic.
- Support and drive schedule release updates across top-tier leagues
- Update all top-tier league events, including date, time, opponents, configurations, etc., by proactively checking schedules and following league updates.
- Manage and support playoff and tournament events by updating opponents, event schedules, etc., within pre-determined SLAs.
- Own a set of leagues and be the POC for those leagues across the sports carveout group and Catalog team.
- Enhance StubHub’s event catalog by adding lower-tier sporting events directly into the catalog and maintaining all data associated with the events.
- Handle ad hoc requests for sporting event updates.
- Build and maintain data associated with sporting events and flag updates pertaining to distinct internal teams.
- Look for opportunities to improve internal sports update processes.
What You've Done
- BS/BA degree or equivalent - 0 to 2 years related professional experience
- Ticketing or entertainment experience a plus
- Self-starter and ability to execute multiple projects and tasks
- Strong ability to comprehend and understand processes with a desire to build and improve them
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to prioritize and meet aggressive targets and deadlines
- Flexibility, including changing working schedule according to sports updates needed
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Team player who is comfortable working with various departments
- Quick learner who can work independently
- Willing and able to work weekends
$28 - $32 an hour
