Engineering Manager - Back-End

We would like to see someone who has:

    • 3+ years of relevant work experience in software development growing and leading diverse engineering teams
    • Successfully built a team from ground-up and recruited top engineering talent
    • Demonstrated capability in inspiring innovation, creating inclusion and optimizing diversity in teams under their care
    • Extensive experience in leading teams to design and develop robust, scalable and distributed systems using multiple general-purpose programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#, Objective-C), with a proven ability to teach others the coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools
    • Demonstrated expertise in leading teams to build software with one or more of the following: Infrastructure, Databases, Data Processing, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Web and Mobile Application Development, Security, and Privacy
    • Experience leading teams that developed solutions to complex problems with significant business impact
    • Hands-on people management and technical leadership experience
    • Proven expertise in growing people on their teams through multiple career stages with a demonstration of significant improvement of their capabilities
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and with teams across the engineering organization

    • Demonstrate leadership that consistently results in executing with agility and high-quality outcomes.
    • Plan and execute on strategic priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
    • Foster a culture of inclusion, results-oriented execution, open innovation, and limitless creativity in your team
    • Champion process and culture improvements within the Engineering organization
