Working within the Data Science team, the Specialist will be working on overseeing the research and data driven projects and the development of statistical data and analysis delivered by the TalentNeuron (TN) business intelligence platform.  

TN is part of the Big Data and advanced analytics revolution and provides insight and analysis on the labor market based on analyzing a unique dataset of multibillion historical labor market records across 40 countries. The candidate will need a strong knowledge of statistics and economics with an emphasis in Data Preprocessing applied on Labor Market. 

What You Will Do

    • Develop and document data quality solutions and index maintenance processes including rebalancing, data publishing and calculation of indexes across different data assets; 
    • Analyze large data sets to identify actionable insights for model development; efficiently work with large datasets and conceptualize analytical framework for quant projects; 
    • Leverage research and data models to solve global HR problems; 
    • Data collation, interpretation and analysis: Ability to bring out meaningful insights by collating different data insights; 
    • Design and evaluate statistical modelling experiments related to Labor Market; 
    • Understand technical issues in statistical modelling and apply these skills toward solving business problems; 
    • Independently identify issues in methods and frameworks and suggest solutions; 
    • Participate in the development of methodologies, tools and code used by the IT development team; 
    • Communicate and present actionable business insights to team members through charts, tables and other data visualization; 
    • Help in defining/improving and implementing a robust data operation process. 

What You Will Need:

    • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in statistics, mathematics or economics with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, 1-2 years of experience with a Master Degree 
    • Experience in a quantitative field performing analytics 
    • Expertise in at least one of the following statistical analysis programs: R, Python. Good knowledge of a querying language (e.g., SQL) 
    • Strong knowledge of advanced functions of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, graphics, statistics…) 
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
    • Detail-oriented and commitment to high-quality results
