As a Managing Director/General Manager for TalentNeuron in India, you will be responsible for leading the software engineering team and for leading a cross-functional team in a matrixed environment.  TalentNeuron is an innovative and dynamic organization focused on providing expert-validated labor market analytics for talent insights, with our India team leading the charge on labor market intelligence and insights. You will also be responsible for aligning the vision, strategy, and direction of the India teams, resources, and performance in alignment with the overall company vision and strategy. You will collaborate with other senior leaders across the organization to ensure alignment and integration of our software development with our overall business objectives while being the local leader for operations, data science, and research activities.
To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in overall general management duties and a high level of skill in architecture and software development within an AWS environment. You will have proven leadership and management skills. You should also have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong customer focus and a passion for innovation. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges. What You Will Do:

    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, quality, and customer satisfaction.
    • Define and execute the software development strategy and roadmap in alignment with the company’s goals and customer needs.
    • Plan for the future workforce, source critical skills, and build a hybrid work strategy with confidence using global labor market data.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
    • Hire, mentor, coach, and develop a diverse and talented software development team.
    • Partner with global colleagues to manage a matrixed team of data scientists and labor market researchers who act as an extension of the client's team and provide strategic guidance and custom research projects.
    • Assess your organization's overall talent strategy and stay ahead of competitors using personalized analytics.
    • Ensure communication transparency within and across your organization as well as with the overall TalentNeuron organization.
    • Collaborate with other functions and regions to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, marketing, research, and customer support to deliver value-added solutions.

What You Will Bring:

    • PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent)
    • 10 or more years’ experience in similar role
    • Demonstrated experience as a leader who inspires, motivates and rallies teams
    • Fluency in English
    • Experience in HR Tech a plus
