Job Summary:
D1 Brands is a fast growing business in the eCommerce space. You will be joining a fast paced environment that thrives on collaboration and critical thinking. Inventory management at D1 consists of storing, transporting, and distributing our finished products to different warehouses and fulfillment centers. As an Inventory Management Expert, you will have the opportunity to help D1 Brands manage 3PL relationships and inventory positions across 3PLs and FBA.
Key Responsibilities
Near-term Stock Planning
- Track, report, and analyze inventory on-hand data within Amazon and 3PLs
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate future supply and logistical needs
- Make quick decisions on near-term stock levels to prevent stock-out situations
FBA Replenishment
- Create shipments to send to Amazon FBA and Walmart Fulfillment Services
- Leverage analytical skills to determine the optimal mode of transportation for inventory shipments based on cost and lead time (3PL carrier, Amazon partner carrier, UPS, Fedex, etc)
- Coordinate the preparation and delivery of shipments with multiple 3PL partners
- Track shipments and reconcile inventory at FBA and 3PLs
Stakeholder Management
- Main point of contact to Brand Management regarding any Supply Chain inquiries
- Collaborate with other departments within Supply Chain including Inbound Transportation, Purchasing, and Inventory Planning
- Communicate with 3PLs regarding FBA replenishment and inventory position requests
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, experience in eCommerce and Amazon preferred
- Moderate to advanced excel skills
- Excellent communication across teams and functions, team oriented attitude
- High level of ownership of work and responsibilities Proactive critical thinking when presented with an ambiguous problem
