Job Description
Tive is actively hiring a VP of Global Marketing. Our marketing team is comprised of nine members across a variety of disciplines such as product marketing, marketing programs, marketing engineering, PR & communications, and design. The VP of Global Marketing will focus on leading each of these disciplines, with a special focus on creating a comprehensive demand generation strategy. Tive is moving more toward account based marketing and selling, so you will have an opportunity to shape how we build the most efficient engine to support that direction. This role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will align tightly with the SDR and sales functions to ensure we are marketing, targeting, and ultimately selling to the same ideal customer profiles. Tive has largely grown through industry events, advertising, and outbound selling efforts over the past few years without the benefit of a well-defined demand gen structure. This is the chance to incrementally drive our qualified pipeline in a white-hot space!

What do the key responsibilities of the role look like?
-Partner closely with the CRO, marketing team, and VP of RevOps to establish a firm path to driving our global qualified pipeline goals.
-Recruit and hire top talent for areas you believe we are missing appropriate expertise. Own the qualified pipeline target for Tive.
-Create a culture of success within your marketing team by enabling your team members to create, pursue, and fulfill applicable goals based on their role and area of focus. Winning begets winning. Continue to establish Tive’s emerging presence as a thought leader in the supply chain and logistics space. Ability to establish appropriate quarterly & annual budget/spend plan within the marketing team.
-Engagement with media, analysts, and others who are covering supply chain & logistics. You will own the decision on which engagements make the most sense for us based on the primary markets and customers we are focusing on.
-Be a humble, confident leader who motivates others and creates alignment across all functions to drive the most efficient marketing operation possible.

What skills and qualifications do we want in the role?
-7+ years of senior marketing leadership experience in a global B2B SaaS businesses in the midst of significant growth cycles (supply chain & logistics experience is preferred, but not required).
-Demand generation, account based marketing, and the development of qualified pipeline are your primary area of marketing expertise. We need an absolute master of this domain.
-Ability to lead through constructive influence while working alongside organizational leadership (sales, sales development, business/revenue operations, product, and executive team).
-Used to leveraging data to drive fact-based decisions related to investments/divestments, performance management, hiring top talent, and managing the team. Invest the company’s money wisely, as though it were your own.
-Exceptional people leader and team builder. Demonstrable track record of hiring top performers and amazing human beings.
-Up to date with the most efficient and effective marketing tech stack base that gives the team the highest likelihood of success. Very comfortable navigating Hubspot and Salesforce and familiar with the best of breed marketing tech stack to best drive and capture demand.
-Ability to operate autonomously in an environment that changes rapidly. 
-Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels.
-Excellent communication skills with peers, team members, and executives alike. 
-Ability to visit the Boston office 1-2 times per month is expected.
