Trilogy Federal is looking for a remote Senior Data Analyst to support a large Federal agency’s data analytics needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Python, SQL, and developing dashboards and reports in PowerBI. Additionally, the selected candidate must be a strong communicator with the experience and ability to interface successfully with our clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Develop/maintain scripts using Python and SQL
- Conduct reviews/analysis on existing data dashboards and reports to find efficiencies and make recommendations
- Develop PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings, observations, analysis, and recommendations
- Attend and facilitate client meetings
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of total work experience
- 4+ years of data analytics experience
- Detailed understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and their features/functions
- Experience using the following: Python, Power BI, and SQL
- Experience with Database design and ETL (data extraction, transform and load)
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Understanding of big data concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
- Experience with creating executive-level briefing materials and reports
- Generally understands IT System Development Life Cycle and Agile concepts and practices
- Possesses a solid understanding of IT architecture concepts
- Ability to interface well with end-users and senior client stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative virtual environment
- Detail-oriented consulting approach, with client service focus
- Self-starter able to work independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years working in a federal consulting environment
- Tableau
- Possesses an advanced degree or credential (e.g., BIDA) in data analytics or business intelligence
- VA or VHA experience
- Experience with or general understanding of VA data analytic platforms, repositories, or tools

$95,000 - $107,500 a year
This range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as Trilogy Federal conducts an individual equity review for every candidate based on experience, location, education, industry experience, and comparisons to internal pay bands.
