What you'll Do, Pre-Production:
- Hire, schedule, and coordinate freelance crew members (DPs, sound engineers, grips, stylists, etc.).
- Secure locations, rental cars, and equipment for shoots.
- Develop and manage detailed production budgets and expense reports.
- Translate creative briefs into actionable production plans, including sourcing props and accessories.
- Build compelling pitch decks to support executive approvals.
- Draft call sheets and ensure clear communication of schedules and responsibilities to all crew members.
What You'll Do: Production:
- Oversee shoot days—keeping the team on time, on budget, and stress free.
- Handle day-of logistics: craft services, transport, contingencies (medical/emergency), etc.
- Troubleshoot in real-time to ensure nothing derails the creative flow
What You'll Do: Post-Production:
- Maintain organized media archives and backups
- Tag and log footage with proper metadata for fast access across the company
- Support editors by prepping assets, managing delivery timelines, and ensuring feedback is looped in smoothly
What You'll add to the Team:
- Operational Excellence: A knack for turning chaos into order—budgets, schedules, and spreadsheets are your comfort zone.
- Creative Allyship: You’re not “just ops”—you know how production empowers creative, and you speak the same language.
- Scalability: You’ll help us build repeatable processes for shoots, making every project more efficient than the last.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with rental houses, studios, and freelancers to secure the best rates and talent.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure insurance, contracts, permits, and safety protocols are always squared away.
