About You:
Versana is seeking a People Operations Analyst. The ideal candidate is proactive and has knowledgeable professional experience in core HR processes, employee onboarding and offboarding, maintaining HR systems, analyzing HR reports, and other HR functions. The People Operations Analyst must be passionate about fostering employee engagement and creative problem solving to be a key player in shaping the success of our organization. Reporting to the Head of People, the ideal candidate has a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail, is detail oriented, is motivated to learn as much as possible, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of employee records and data, ensuring timely updates in all HR systems
- Facilitate the onboarding of new hires including data entry, partnering with IT and Office Coordinator for set up, and other first day logistics
- Support offboarding events to ensure a smooth and compliant transitions
- Assist with recruiting and staffing efforts including scheduling candidates and collecting interviewer feedback
- First point of contact for employee inqueries
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations to assist managers and employees
- Assist with the execution of core HR processes and programs such an annual performance reviews, benefits open enrollment, and learning and development
- Track, analyze, and report on key HR metrics to help inform decision-making
- Monitor and track PTO requests and update managers on a quarterly basis
- Continuously assess and make recommendations to improve HR processes to enhance employee experience
- Collect and submit supporting documents and reports for internal audits
- Contribute to engagement and culture initiatives, including the planning, execution, and communication of employee events
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Efficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (Justworks, CultureAmp, etc.)
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations and solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align People initiatives with business objectives
- A high sense of ownership and accountability
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills
- High integrity and sound judgment; capable of handling confidential and sensitive information
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
