What You'll Do
We are looking for a Strategy and Operations Associate. In this role, you will lead multiple projects at Vial, including helping to set and execute firm level strategy. You will report directly to the Office of the CEO, engage closely with the executive team and have significant autonomy in leading Strategy and Operations projects. This role is remote and will require the candidate to be based in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead key strategic and operational tasks for Vial Battery Bio including core drug development ops, M&A, and investor relations, trial ops, process mapping
    • Manage end-to-end projects with input from key stakeholders
    • Contribute as a thought partner helping set firm direction, brainstorming and collecting thoughts across the org

What you'll bring

    • 1-3 years of experience in Finance and/or Operations and/or Strategy and/or Analytics
    • Experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, or previous S&O/BizOps roles preferred
    • Problem solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in and expertise in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets/sheets)
    • Combine business context and analytics to take on a problem area and implement a customized solution
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, experience in startup environment preferred a plus
    • Deeply analytical, systems thinker, focused on finding scalable solutions
