Job Description
We are seeking to hire a tailor who will be responsible for preparing the luxury clothing based on the customer's preferences.
Responsibilities
· Taking precise measurements of customers to ensure that clothing fits correctly
· Designing and creating new garments from scratch or altering existing garments to fit a customer's needs
· Sewing, cutting, and fitting fabrics to create high-quality garments
· Repairing damaged clothing or altering clothing to meet a customer's preferences i.e. Beads, Crystals, Zippers, buttons, hooks, etc.
· Restyling old or outdated garments based on Customer’s specifications.
· Operating sewing machines, irons, and other tools to complete projects
· Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and providing recommendations on garment care, fit, and style.
· Maintaining a clean and organized work area and equipment.
· Keeping up-to-date with new trends, fabrics, and techniques in the fashion industry
Job Requirements:
· Tailors may work in a variety of settings of the laundry setup.
· Must have strong attention to detail, be skilled with a variety of fabrics and tools, and have excellent communication skills to work with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their garments.
· Holds at least 4-5 years of UAE experience managing high-end fabrics and stitching.
· Must have worked with wedding -Gowns, sequins, pattern-making skills, worked on traditional saris and abayas, and hands-on knowledge working with men’s suits and winter jackets.
