As we continue to scale and evolve, we’re looking for a Creative Director who can push the boundaries of creativity while staying grounded in growth marketing and business impact.
The Role
As Washmen’s Creative Director, you will sit at the intersection of creativity, growth, and strategy. You’ll lead our in-house creative designers and videographers, drive our creative sprints, and ensure every piece of work—be it a campaign, video, influencer collaboration, or in-app pop up builds brand love and drives measurable results.
This is not a traditional Creative Director role. We’re looking for someone who is as excited about experimenting with AI tools to speed up workflows as they are about shaping big brand ideas. Someone who can move seamlessly between strategy, execution, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor our in-house creative team of designers and videographers, ensuring a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Creative Sprints: Run structured creative sprints to generate bold, fresh concepts that cut through and drive creative that converts.
Growth-Driven Creativity: Partner with the Marketing Director to craft campaigns that don’t just look good but also deliver on key metrics like acquisition and retention.
Messaging & Content Strategy: Step beyond visuals to help shape copy, messaging frameworks, content strategy, and campaign narratives.
AI-First Creativity: Encourage and implement the use of AI tools to streamline ideation, design, copywriting, and production, making the team faster and sharper.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with product, growth, CRM, and leadership teams to ensure creative execution aligns with business priorities.
Brand Guardian: Ensure consistency of Washmen’s brand identity across all touchpoints while continuing to evolve and elevate our creative expression on all channels: online and offline.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in creative (agency or in-house, ideally both).
Strong background in creative direction with proven experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams.
Solid understanding of growth marketing, performance creative, and data-driven decision making.
A hands-on leader who can think big but also roll up their sleeves to get things done.
Demonstrated ability to develop messaging frameworks and content strategies, not just visuals.
Deep curiosity and willingness to explore AI as a creative partner and efficiency driver.
A bold thinker with the ability to balance brand building with measurable business impact.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
Proficiency in the following tools:
For Design: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom), Figma, Webflow
For Content Management: Strapi
For AI & Productivity: ChatGPT, Nano Banana
For Collaboration & Project Management: Notion, Slack, Asana
