SALARY: $70,000-$110,000

ABOUT THE LOGAN SCHOOL 
The Logan School (Logan) is an ACIS-accredited institution that promotes the curiosities of gifted children with an approach that is as unique and individual as the children who make up the Logan community. Logan serves approximately 250 students in grades K-8 on a 13-acre campus. Here, students develop their individualized units of study, allowing personal passions and interests to drive the development of academic skills and deep critical thinking. Faculty, in partnership with families, guide students through their learning journeys and infuse Logan’s values and commitment to building an inclusive community throughout the campus. 

Job Summary 
The Enrollment Management Director is an integral part of the school’s administrative team and is responsible for managing all facets of the admissions process in the school’s effort to attract, enroll, and retain a diverse and dynamic student population. 

ABOUT THE POSITION 
The Enrollment Management Director is a key senior leader who reports directly to the Head of School and works closely with the senior leadership team. The Director of Enrollment Management assumes a pivotal role in advancing The Logan School’s mission and ensuring the school's long-term sustainability. The Director of Enrollment is responsible for the strategic, operational, and administrative oversight of the student lifecycle and end-to-end family recruitment, from initial outreach to inquiry, application, enrollment, engagement, and retention. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with the Director of Finance and Operations and the Head of School to oversee the enrollment and re-enrollment contract process. This includes the development of a contract, mailing the contracts, and keeping track of contracts and deposits received 
    • Work with the Director of Finance and Operations and Head of School to oversee the financial aid application process
    • Contribute to the mission and standards of the school by recruiting and retaining students who will benefit from the school’s unique culture and programmatic offerings and contribute to the school community 
    • Formulate forward-thinking, strategic application, admission, and enrollment policies 
    • Report directly to the head of school and liaise with the board of trustees regarding admissions and enrollment 
    • Coordinate four essential elements to ensure a competitive admissions process and the long-term health of the student body and broader alumni/ae base: admission management (the tracking of prospective students from applicant to enrollment and beyond); student retention; research (analyzing data that affect enrollment); and marketing 
    • Supervise Enrollment Management Associate 
    • Oversee enrollment management budgets 
    • Work closely with senior administrators to support development, communications, and marketing 
    • Be on-site for all contractual work days unless otherwise specified
    • Understand the mission, including the culture and climate of the school and the broader educational environment 
    • Foster high ethical standards, integrity, and respect for colleagues, alumni/ae, parents, and students throughout the admissions process 
    • Be sensitive to economic, cultural, and other issues present in the enrollment of a diverse student body 
    • Communicate clearly, enthusiastically, and as one voice, to all staff and prospective students and their families 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

    • A bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred
    • At least two to five years of experience in an admission office preferred
    • Experience in independent schools preferred
    • Experience with Student Information Systems/Databases (ex. Blackbaud)
    • Ability to think critically and creatively
    • Proven success in a senior administrative role, preferably working with a board
    • Demonstrated leadership qualities
    • The ability to work collaboratively with other school community members
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
