We're looking for a Chief of Staff, CEO to join XX Artists' rapidly growing team. As the Chief of Staff, you will directly support the CEO of the company and play a critical role in the strategic development and prioritization of key client projects, business development and company initiatives. 

You will work in lockstep with the CEO and the executive leadership team, supporting the strategic development of core client marketing initiatives and new business expansion efforts. You will see through the realization of key marketing initiatives, with a focus on ensuring teams are organized to work effectively and collaboratively and prepared to deliver the highest quality of deliverables for both existing and prospective clients, as well as XX’s internal team. 

We are looking for an operationally-minded, digital marketer with exceptional project management skills. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the marketing agency industry, with experience in serving as a generalist across key service types including marketing and strategy, account management (including budgeting and resource planning), team management, and business development. Experience working with Talent on digital marketing initiatives a plus.

A digital marketer with proven experience crafting narrative-driven strategic marketing proposals and the knowhow to shepherd won proposals to account leads and/or creative production teams for successful integration and delivery.
An adaptable, creative, and self-starting individual with the ability to proactively manage self and others across multiple disciplines and levels.
A strategic, critical thinker who is able to identify business opportunities, understand efficiencies and quickly apply learnings in order to accomplish goals
A strong communicator and detail-oriented project manager who can act as an extension of the CEO in helping scale operations and business expansion

A proficient Google tools user  including GMail and Google services (Meets, Chat, Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
A student of the internet with a forward-thinking, digital-first mindset and willingness to stay on top of trends, best practices and emerging platforms and marketing tactics

What You’ll Be Doing
Act as the CEO’s direct liaison between internal and external stakeholders across all levels for key client projects and select business initiatives
Lead on assigned special projects and/or initiativesAttend internal and external meetings and calls with and on behalf of the CEO
Ensure action items from meetings are documented and implemented consistently to all involved parties
Work closely with CEO’s executive assistant to ensure capacity is optimized across CEO and Chief of Staff as principles
Project manage key projects and/or initiatives and execute deliverables with a hands-on approach, effectively executing top priorities as denoted by CEO
Support the CEO and VP, Business Development in strategic business development efforts, scaling existing key client accounts and managing sale cycles for new, high value clients (i.e. projected manage sales lead conversations, build pitch decks, draft SOWs, etc.)
Oversee post-sale general administrative workflows (contract filing, client invoicing, etc.)
Work closely with the CEO, VP Ops, VP Finance, and VP Business
Development supporting the management of new key client integrations and retaining current client accounts
Support in executive Finance workflows in partnership with VP Finance, CEO and VP Ops including Forecast management, Payroll and headcount management, COGS management and more
Support in internal workflows, documents and/or playbooks development, meetings and materials preparation as requested 

Necessary Experience
Minimum of 6 years of digital marketing management experience (i.e. account lead/executive experience)
Experience developing pitch decks, RFP response presentations/documents, etc. 
Proven ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success
Mature judgment and discretion in keeping sensitive information confidential
Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work seamlessly with a variety of personalities and functional disciplines
Experience in marketing operational workflows include resource planning, staffing, budgeting and legal
Excellent communicator in written and verbal form; ability to work well with executives, and able to lead and influence across multiple functions of an organization
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and efficient with limited resources

Preferred Experience
Secondary education
8+ years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of and passion for current online content trends and social media
Experience working independently as well as in team environmentsExperience working with talent
