We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our growing team. This person will work closely and collaborate with the Operations team on tasks that include all functional areas of human resources but are not limited to: benefits administration, HRIS management,  employee relations, compliance, and maintaining employee files. You will report directly to the Senior Director of People Operations.

An ideal candidate has prior experience in managing employee information and HR tech stacks, maintaining compliance, and has the ability to maintain a strict code of confidentiality. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. 

This role functions M-F business hours, in addition to some select evenings and weekends. XX Artists company benefits currently include a competitive health and vision package, 401K matching, and paid time off. Salary range is 65k -80k. Offer is dependent on level of experience.

What We’re Looking For: 
Minimum of 4+ years of  human resources and or people operations experience 
Manage queries from employees and managers regarding: benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures
Ability to communicate with all organizational levels inside and outside the organization through establishing positive and productive working relationships
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to facilitate and provide support in the recruitment cycle
Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local laws which govern policies and practices of hiring, compensation, benefits, and employment
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems
Proficient in Google tools including GMail and Google services (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
Must have a valid passport

What You’ll Be Doing: 
Operate comfortably with ambiguity to provide suggestions and direction
Manage the execution of processes such as budget planning, compensation, and performance reviews
Lead employee relations and organizational issues in a proactive and effective manner
Maintain digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records
Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and a high degree of confidentiality
Manage projects, prioritize competing assignments, and manage workload effectively
Communicate policies and procedures to managers and employees to ensure fair and consistent practices
Work closely with the Operations team in the development and implementation of plans and strategies
Manage external and internal compliance audits and reporting
Provide additional support for company events and facilities

Preferred Skills:
Secondary Education
SHRM or other HR certification
Experience with HR tech stack: Gusto, Bambee, Lever, Asana, Bonusly
Experience with DEIB efforts
M&A integration experience (combining HRIS, ATS, etc.)
