We're looking for an Associate Director, Talent to join XX Artists' rapidly growing team. As the Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading proactive social media strategy and creative ideation for tentpole moments. As well as always-on, talent and account management for a book of current and new clients ranging from musicians to actors. You will report directly to the Sr Director, Talent.

We’re looking for someone who can communicate effectively between departments, identify any gaps, and enable clear partnerships. This person needs to have experience with high-level clientele, with a natural ability for concise communication and anticipating needs. The ideal candidate has proven success creating unique and intentional social campaigns with A-list talent. Strong copywriting skills, creative design delegation, project management, and corporate communications experience are required. 

This role functions M-F business (PST) hours, in addition to some select evenings and weekends. XX Artists company benefits currently include a competitive health and vision package, 401K matching, and paid time off.

What We’re Looking For: 
Minimum 5+ years of progressive social media experience 
Minimum 4+ years of experience in working with high-profile Talent and their respective teams. (Managers, Agents, Promoters, Publicists)
Experience managing and leading a team of juniors.
Experience managing social media strategy and execution on behalf of high-profile talent (traditional celebrities and digital creators)
Success in content creation, social media, copywriting, and internal communications, to develop campaigns that directly connect with clients’ audiences and achieve KPIs.
Ability to identify goals, create net-new strategies, interpret data and deploy cohesive marketing campaigns to continually push creative boundaries.
Ability to produce editorial output which reflects brand objectives and current cultural trends
Understanding of functions, data, and use of social media platforms (YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Triller, Discord, and others), plus experience in communicating directly with these platforms
 A passion for developing,  cultivating, and growing online communities
Willing and desire to be hands-on with clients, maintaining a ‘no task is too big or too small mentality
Ability to operate at a high level but willing to jump into the daily deliverables (copywriting, concepting, deck building, etc.)
Extensive experience in social-first activations in the space
A network of connections in both the entertainment and digital industries.
A valid passport 
A proficient Google tools user, including Gmail and Google services (Docs, Sheets, etc.)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead on key accounts and interface with key stakeholders
Create unique and intentional social campaigns with diverse, A-list talent
Develop creative strategies and set goals for your respective clients’ platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Twitch, LinkedIn
Manage the development and ongoing maintenance of clients’ editorial calendars
Manage workflows including new client integrations, campaign development, and management, as well as on-going / day-to-day client management
Leverage data, insights, trends, and best practices to inform social creative and copy development for your respective clients
Daily community management with a focus on identifying engagement opportunities
Manage live/active engagement opportunities documents 
Copywriting talent social responses for various platforms and monitoring social chatter 
Identifying problematic and/or crisis content for escalation to Director for clients
Lead a team of Managers and Coordinators; providing them with resources and direction while allowing them to grow in their roles
Keep on the cutting edge of social/digital/emerging media and track trends to identify new, innovative ways to evolve the strategies, grow audiences, drive meaningful conversations, and build communities online and strategic partnerships and new client opportunities
Identify client goals, develop compelling strategies that drive talent KPIs (qual/quant), and perform exceptional servicing across all duties, including being prepared to roll up your sleeves and work with your teams to deliver tactical executions to meet the needs of talent.

Meaningfully contribute to new business conversations

Preferred Experience: 
Secondary Education
6+ years of progressive social media and/or talent management experience 
5+ years of experience in working with high-profile Talent and their teams (Managers, Agents, Promoters, Publicists)
