We're looking for a Senior Director of Account Management to join XX Artists’ rapidly growing leadership team. As a Senior Director, you will be responsible for building, overseeing, and managing the Account Management department, which serves as the center of excellence for a $50M revenue business. As the department head, you will develop team members and processes and oversee the project management across our highest value social campaigns, along with administrative needs for maintaining best-in-class partnerships with our enterprise global brand clients.

The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about the Internet, YouTube content and has a deep knowledge of creators, digital talent and trends (both on and offline). The ideal candidate must be well-versed in social media, influencer marketing, and on the bleeding edge of platform product updates, trends, and algorithms. Strong project management skills, direct experience with client communication, and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment are crucial.

You must be able to provide thought leadership, develop compelling strategies that drive brand KPIs in partnership with cross-functional teams, and perform executive client management duties. As with any role at XX, we believe that leaders at all levels should be prepared to roll up their sleeves and work with their teams to deliver tactical executions as needed. You must be detail-oriented, self-sufficient, forward-thinking, and passionate about delivering superior customer service at all times, including to your internal partners.

While this role is remote and/or work-from-office optional, we do anticipate 1-2 quarterly business trips for internal leadership on-site and client meetings. You will report directly to the Founder/CEO, and work in conjunction with XX Artists’ partners' teams, namely the Chief of Staff, Sr. Director of Brand Services, and VP of Finance.

What We’re Looking For:
● Minimum 6+ years of account management/social media strategy work experience
● Minimum 5+ years of direct leadership/management experience 
● Proven ability to effectively manage client relationships
● Established leader, with proven experience in efficiently growing and managing internal teams
● Thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple high-value clients
● Proficient in Gmail, Google tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.), and PM tools (Asana, Monday, Wrike, Jira, etc)
● Must have a valid passport
● Effective time-management, client communication, impeccable organization, and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changes at scale and with large resources in consideration (budget, people)
● A team leader who can effectively coach and lead a team with varying levels of experience to become future leaders, while being able to step in to keep projects moving and ensure client's needs are met
● Ability to set and improve team workflows to improve efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction in alignment with company goals
● Someone who is comfortable in front of clients, is proficient in building and presenting quarterly business reviews and is able to resolve conflicts both internally and externally.
● Versed in social media strategy with a broad knowledge of the social media landscape; understand the importance of social media as a part of integrated campaigns vs tactical
● Support business development needs across existing accounts, as well as assist with new business pitches, proposals, and resourcing
● Amazing communication skills – you’re straightforward, articulate, honest (but kind!), and engaging
● You have an insatiable curiosity and are unafraid to ask questions, including of your leadership (CEO, etc.)
● Ability to summarize insights and unify trends to create actionable recommendations for client campaigns and ongoing engagement tactics
● Professional, personable, humble, and fun personality and care deeply about building lasting relationships with clients
● A team player who thrives in an ever-changing, creative, and social environment

Preferred Experience:
● Secondary education
● 7+ years of account management/social media strategy work experience
● Strong influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills
● Knowledge of and passion for current online content trends
