Your Team & Role:

    • This role provides Tier 1 cloud support; servers, networking equipment, and Zadara cloud resources.

Your day to day:

    • Track issues through to resolution.
    • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
    • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.
    • Escalate issues to the next level, as needed.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
    • Document processes and update knowledge base.
    • Work closely with senior members of the Support, DevOps and Engineering teams.

What you bring:

    • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written), high proficiency .
    • Must live within commuting distance to Zadara office.
    • 1-3 years experience in administration, configuration, and tuning of Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian and/or CentOS/RHEL) or 2-5 years experience in customer support.
    • Basic understanding of network concepts.
    • Identifying and troubleshooting system and network connectivity and performance issues.
    • Able to work with both technical and with those with limited understanding of technical concepts.
    • Understanding of ITIL V3 concepts, processes and functions.
    • Excellent communication skills including prior client-facing experience.
    • Eager and willing to learn new technologies and skills.
    • Problem solver, capable of identifying and resolving issues, being able to see the big picture.
    • Excellent team player.

Nice to Haves:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
