As a Junior Strategy and Operations Analyst you will have the opportunity to work across Zeller’s Growth (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships and Account Management) teams to make a real impact on critical growth projects, enabling us to better understand and optimise our Sales processes and Marketing performance, and get a 60° view on how to grow and scale a high performing team in one of Australia’s fastest growing fintechs.

Impact: You will be a trusted advisor and partner to key leaders across the Growth team Your work will empower the Growth team’s decision-making processes, ensuring that we understand the impact, ROI, and opportunities with every dollar invested.
Collaboration and cross-functional exposure: You’ll work across Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Partnerships to deeply understand workflows, performance, and process, and identify and execute programs to maximise operational efficiency. Your ability to work seamlessly and integrate with diverse teams will be core to your success.
Breadth and depth of role: No two days are the same. From conducting in-depth analyses, to spearheading high-impact growth projects, you’ll have the chance to explore diverse areas and make a real impact.
What you will do
- Sales operations improvement: Conduct detailed, recurring analysis on the performance of Zeller’s complete sales funnel, identifying opportunities to drive efficiency and improve conversion rates, to then execute on these projects.
- Deal support: Review the Zeller sales and partnership deal process, helping Account Executives, Partnerships Managers, and senior decision-makers to draft heads agreements, through to understanding profitability modelling.
- Growth reporting and analysis: Deliver regular reporting on the efficiency and impact of the Zeller Growth funnel, ensuring all key stakeholders are across performance metrics and opportunities to accelerate adoption of Zeller’s products and solutions.
- Project management: Lead a range of tactical cross-functional projects from inception to delivery, and overseeing execution by supporting teams and jumping in to unblock when issues arise.
- Strategy suppport: Working cross functionally with team leaders to undertake analysis such as opportunity sizing, marketing campaign strategy, uptake modelling, and scenario analysis to assist in the decision making process
- Target development and delivery: Working in partnership with finance to deliver sales and revenue target analysis, and ensuring communication through to relevant teams. Execute growth productivity and conversion rate modelling to ensure targets can be achieved successfully.
Qualifications and experience
- Management consulting experience in Strategy and Operations
- Agility and adaptability. You thrive in fast-moving environments and can pivot approaches swiftly to arrive at solutions.
- You are comfortable with quantitative analysis and must have strong Excel / data modelling skills.
- Operations and process oriented. You're logically minded, and can look at a complex workflow or system and break it down into clear steps, triggers, automations, and workflows to deliver a streamlined process.
- Strong communication skills. You’re adept at taking complex models, processes, or ideas, and distilling them down into something that is easy for a wide variety of stakeholders to understand.
- Highly detail oriented. While you can dive into the minutiae, you also possess the ability to synthesise information effectively.
- You can effectively prioritise work to drive outcomes.
- A love for challenging the status-quo and have a bias for action.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and structuring analysis using inductive and deductive logic.
- Enjoy the intellectual challenge of problem solving.
- Experience with CRM platforms (such as Hubspot) is a plus.
