Partnerships @ A.Team
We are seeking an experienced  Partnerships lead with a knack for navigating complex organizations and an established network and experience in private equity, preferably within NYC. You will devise and execute a complex strategy with a variety of sophisticated stakeholders (investors, portfolio operations specialists, IT folks, portico c-suites, etc.) to generate and grow business from leading global private equity firms including Apollo, Blackstone, KKR and more.

*Note: We are looking for people who are able to work from our NYC-based clubhouse at minimum two days per week

Anticipated base salary band: $130,000 USD-$180,000 USD, commensurate with experience; this role is also eligible for an equity grant.

In this role, you will...

    • Cultivate and expand partnerships within the private equity sector
    • Develop and implement strategies for acquiring business through referrals of portfolio companies
    • Navigate complex deal structures and organizational hierarchies with creativity and intelligence
    • Work closely with sales to drive business development efforts with P.E. portfolios

About you:

    • 5-7 years of experience in venture capital and private equity, with a strong personal network in the industry
    • Ability to strategize and execute complex business deals
    • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Creative and smart approach to problem-solving and strategy development
    • Ability to cultivate relationships with partners, gaining deep insight into their business and creatively designing solutions for their needs
    • Strategic thinker with ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cross functionally across different teams
    • Delivering an incredible consumer experience - every single time
    • Strong work ethic, high energy, intellectual curiosity, a results-driven mindset, and a team player
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
    • Bonus points for: MBA from top university
