At ABM, we are seeking a skilled Service Mechanic to join our maintenance team in a mid-level handyman role. This position requires a knowledgeable professional who can handle various plumbing and light carpentry tasks while providing excellent customer service to our residents.

Join our team at Park La Brea, a prestigious 160-acre residential complex featuring high-rise and low-rise buildings with beautifully maintained grounds. Located in the heart of Los Angeles near The Grove, this premier residential community offers a dynamic work environment serving diverse residents

Primary Job Duties

    • Plumbing Services:
    • Clear sink, toilet, and tub clogs
    • Repair faucet leaks
    • Install, repair, and replace faucets
    • General plumbing maintenance and troubleshooting
    • Light Carpentry:
    • Kitchen cabinet door repairs
    • Bathroom vanity cabinet door repairs
    • Basic carpentry maintenance tasks

Required Qualifications

    • Valid driver's license (required)
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in plumbing and basic carpentry
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Professional demeanor with ability to treat residents with respect and courtesy
    • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
    • Desire for professional growth within the position

Schedule (Subject to Change) & Benefits

    • 24/7 coverage facility with varying schedules
    • Swing Shift: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM OR 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
    • Day Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (limited availability)
    • Work week: Wednesday through Sunday OR Thursday through Tuesday
