ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Building Engineer.

The Building Engineer supports the designated leadership with the daily operations of all building systems. This includes hard surface maintenance and repair, basic carpentry and metal work, operating, maintaining and repairing all facility system equipment associated with HVAC operations and mechanical and electrical systems. The Building Engineer will also respond to customer requests and submit and close work orders as necessary and perform other duties as assigned.

I.         Major Function:
Manage an inventory of a warehouse that supports production operations within Demi Grand-Clark NJ.  Receive, store, prepare and maintain accurate records by performing all needed transactions in the inventory management system-Pegase.
 
II.       Principal Accountabilities
1.       Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions utilizing an inventory management system
2.       Receive and log into the inventory all incoming components, bulk, and other material
3.       Stage bulk and components for Filling in a timely manner to support the production schedule
4.       Return any left bulk or components to inventory or to labs
5.       Prepare/palletize/stage batches for Pilot production (shipped or in-house production)
6.       Fulfill and deliver Demi Grand Stock components to support the daily lab requests
7.       Purge and dispose of all expired raw materials, components, and bulk monthly as scheduled
8.       Do physical warehouse inventory with minimal supervision when needed
9.       Manage proper identification of bulk and materials leaving the Demi Grand into the waste area with proper GHS labeling
10.    Drive forklift as needed
11.    Support filling and/or Pre-weigh activity when needed, including weighing, material handling, and transfer activity
12.    Maintain excellent housekeeping in all areas
13.    Adhere to all Quality and Safety rules
14.    Actively participates in safety improvement programs
15.    Backup DG reception during absences and activity peak
16.    Other duties as assigned by the Management/Supervisor of the area

High School Diploma
IV.   Knowledge and Skills
1.       Basic computer skills is a must (Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel – basic)
2.       Read write and speak English
3.       Ability to interact and communicate effectively
4.       Familiar with the metric system of weights
5.       Must be detailed oriented
6.       Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
7.       Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
8.       Must be capable of working in a team setting
9.       Must be professional and courteous
10.    Must be authorized to work in the US
 
V.       Direction/Responsibility
Once trained can work independently with little supervision.
$19 - $19 biweekly
