ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Maintenance Technician.
The Maintenance Technician supports the designated leadership with the daily operations of all building systems. This includes hard surface maintenance and repair, basic carpentry and metal work, operating, maintaining and repairing all facility system equipment associated with HVAC operations and mechanical and electrical systems. The Building Engineer will also respond to customer requests and submit and close work orders as necessary and perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: $32.00/HR
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Essential Functions:
- Follows safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards
- Qualified to operate or assist in operating all heating and ventilating equipment, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, ice and refrigerating machines, air conditioning units, fans and siphons on the site assigned
- Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks as assigned
- You will be responsible for working with both internal and external customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations and failure investigations
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain all building equipment to ensure the operation of same is with design capabilities and to achieve proper environmental conditions prescribed by building management.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the equipment as prescribed by ABM Engineering Services’ and manufacturers’ recommendations.
- Perform all housekeeping functions and maintain a professional appearance of equipment and engineering spaces assigned to technician.
- Maintain an energy management program which ensures measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs to a minimum.
- Review building operations, preventive maintenance, training, energy management and equipment status on a frequent basis.
- Implementation and management of Operational Manuals and Logs, Equipment History Book, The Safety Program, The Inventory Control Program, The Preventive Maintenance Program, The Daily Engineering Log.
- Coordination of Work Order Procedures, Failure Analysis Procedures, Vendor Relations, The Formal Training Program, Building Management Communications.
Qualifications:
- Two plus years of Maintenance experience.
- Engineering skill sets which can be applied to a range of systems, maintenance programs and engines.
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
- Customer Service Experience.
$35 - $35 an hour
