ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Lead Cleaner.
The Lead Cleaner is responsible for giving direction, motivation and guidance to a team of cleaners. Conducts quality improvement inspections within assigned areas of responsibility and ensures quality and satisfaction levels are meeting and/or exceeding expectations. Assists with the training of housekeeping staff and schedules work assignments, and assists with making daily and weekly work schedules.

Pay:  $17.30 Hourly Rate

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. 

 Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM

 This position is responsible for:

-Cleaning assigned area
-Giving direction, motivation, and guidance to a team of cleaners; and filling out check and verification lists
-Be in contact to superiors (supervisor and manager) to provide specific reports of the building cleaning tasks
 
Essential Functions
-Conducts quality improvement inspections within assigned areas of responsibility 
-Ensures quality and satisfaction levels are meeting and/or exceeding expectations 
-Assures the highest quality of customer satisfaction 
-Assists with Training and Development 
-Leads and participates in a team to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. 

Responsibilities

-Provides leadership and direction to team members 
-Assists with making daily and weekly work schedules 
- Uses company provided cellphone to get in touch with superiors and sending reports, during the night shift.
-Reports damaged, broken and out of work features/items 
- Fills out check and verification list of the property
-Makes sure premises are secured at all times 
-Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Area Manager. 
-Provides training to all new hires assigned to the building 
-Attends and participates in all meeting and training sessions involving assigned property and crew. 
-Checks supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly. 
-Completes order forms completely and accurately. 
-Coordinates equipment usage and inventories. 
Performs all tasks and duties required of your team 
-Miscellaneous duties as assigned 

Qualifications
-Must be 18 years of age or older. 
-Must have 6 months similar experience
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
-Customer Service Experience  
-1 yr of similar work experience
