When launch day arrives, we want you by our side
As a Drafter at ABL, you will ensure our CAD models, drawings, bills of materials, and schematics are as good as they can be. You’ll work with engineering leadership and NX/Teamcenter developers to develop and drive internal company standards, helping the design engineering teams do their job more efficiently and with fewer errors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage top-level assembly CAD models in NX12 to ensure model structure, configuration control, and internal company standards are maintained
- Generate reports on vehicle mass properties, design release status, part count, and similar using NX 12, Teamcenter 11.5, and Microsoft Excel
- Provide drawing review and feedback to engineers, driving standardization across the organization
- Update schematics based on engineering direction and redlines
- Build out and manage existing CAD standard libraries using part families and reuse libraries
- Support engineering leadership and business development in creating graphics for company documents
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD and PLM systems (preferably Siemens NX and Teamcenter)
- Knowledge of ASME standards such as Y14.5
- Ability to read complex fluid schematics/P&IDs
- Proficient in Microsoft Visio, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- A.S. from an accredited university
- Proficient in standard fits, tolerance stacks, and GD&T analysis
- Experience using the following NX features: part families, routing objects, check mate, reuse libraries
- Exceptional attention to detail
$85,000 - $150,000 a year
The salary range for this role is $85,000-$150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
