As an Additive Manufacturing Technician, you will be partnering with engineering team to print advanced rocket engines. You will own additive manufacturing process from powder to printed parts along with additive manufacturing team, a mission critical duty.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Own additive manufacturing process, from powder to printed engines
    • Set up, operate, and maintain 3D metal printing machines
    • Follow procedures, specifications, and engineering requirements to ensure safety, product quality, and production schedule
    • Support and manage power, consumables, and equipment with inventory and production team
    • Collaborate with engineers with development build ups, tear downs, and post-print process
    • Operate equipment such as, drills, lathes, and CNC machines to develop tooling

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1+ year metal additive manufacturing experience
    • High school diploma + 4 years working experience in automotive, aerospace, and/or other industrial environment OR Associates +2 years work experience

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • 2+ years metal powder bed 3D printing/Direct Laser Metal Sintering (DMLS) printing experience
    • Excellent mechanical aptitude - experience working with manual machines and complex advanced machinery
    • CNC, CAD, CMM, PLC, or other programming experience that can transfer to 3d printing programming
    • Demonstrated ability to follow engineering instructions and ability to collaborate with engineers
    • Ability to adapt and excel in fast-paced manufacturing environment
    • Self starter and a problem solver

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENTS:

    • Sit/stand for extended periods of time
    • Be able to lift 50lbs
    • Use computer to complete daily tasks/assignments
    • Employee will typically work in a shop environment
    • Weekend work required
    • Up to 10% travel
