DIRECTOR, PROGRAM EXECUTION

As the Director of Program Execution, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of all projects and programs within ABL. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Your leadership and strategic vision will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency and achieving our business objectives.

RESPONSBILITIES:

    • Champion the strategic execution of programs and projects, aligning them with our overarching business goals.
    • Cultivate a high-performing team culture that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Define clear project scopes, objectives, and success criteria in partnership with key stakeholders.
    • Develop robust project plans encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to drive accountability and efficiency.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, keeping projects on track and delivering results with precision.
    • Foster open communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates and soliciting feedback to ensure alignment.
    • Drive the evolution of our project management practices, incorporating best-in-class methodologies and tools.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize resource utilization and leverage synergies across the organization.
    • Present compelling insights and recommendations to senior leadership, guiding strategic decision-making.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related technical field.
    • 6+ years of experience in leading technical program management.
    • Has experience leading teams to execute on complex programs and milestones.
    • Has experience interfacing and communicating with a diverse stakeholder landscape.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Advanced degree preferred, such as MBA, PMP, or Agile certification.
    • Previous experience in aerospace or launch services industry.
    • Inspirational leadership style with a knack for motivating and empowering teams to achieve greatness.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder landscapes.
    • Strategic mindset coupled with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a relentless focus on driving operational excellence.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to use a computer to complete assignments.
    • Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone and telepresence.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in an office environment.
$170,000 - $230,000 a year
This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
