We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in building and maintaining robust data infrastructure, designing efficient data models, and visualizing insights to drive strategic decision-making. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our data pipelines, ensuring reliability, and enhancing data visualization capabilities.

You will

    • Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure using Snowflake, Airflow, FiveTran, and DBT to support scalable and reliable data pipelines.
    • Create and optimize data models to facilitate business analysis.
    • Utilize Tableau to present actionable insights to stakeholders.
    • Implement site reliability best practices to monitor ETL pipelines and ensure system stability using tools such as New Relic.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and implement data solutions that drive business value.
    • Develop and maintain proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
    • Manage databases including Postgres, Snowflake, Aurora, and RDS to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.

You have

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, adept problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in troubleshooting complex issues.
    • Demonstrated minimum of five years of practical experience in data engineering positions, ideally within the fintech sector.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
    • Experience with data infrastructure tools such as Snowflake, Airflow, FiveTran, and DBT.
    • Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Looker, and PowerBI, with a preference for Tableau proficiency. 
    • Proficiency in data modeling methodologies, Git utilization, and continuous integration and deployment processes, especially with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
    • Solid understanding of database management systems including Postgres, Snowflake, Aurora, and RDS.
