About the role
Are you a podcast fanatic, with a passion for establishing and nurturing relationships? Do you see  yourself as a service-minded person? We are looking for a driven and organized Associate Partner Manager to join our team in Canada, and help support our premium publishers and many podcast partners.You will be responsible for managing relationships with existing and new publishers and podcasters.

You’ll be their go-to contact at Acast, providing them with exceptional support in delivering both their audio and growth strategy. Ideally, you’ll have experience managing partnerships within a media company. You will also have strong attention to detail and be proactive, highly organized and personable. In your daily work you’ll have a data-driven approach, be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to commercial opportunities and brands, and have an appreciation of the rapidly evolving podcast landscape.

If you have experience working with content or within the podcast industry more generally, that is a bonus.Ideally, you’ll have experience from a media company, you have a strong attention to detail, you are proactive, highly organized and personable. We see it as a plus if you have previous experience and knowledge of working within the podcast industry. In your daily work you’ll be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to commercial opportunities and brands, as well as an appreciation of the rapidly evolving podcast landscape with a data-driven approach.

What you´ll do
• You will manage high-level relationships with current and future publishers, broadcasters and digital media
• You will manage high-level relationships with current and future publishers, broadcasters and digital media companies and be the day-to-day point of contact for our key publishers and shows.
• Ensure that the sales teams locally and globally have all the information they need to monetize Acast podcasts and help create sales assets to support sales
• Help publishers shape their podcast strategy and develop and implement ways to grow their audiences
• Provide marketing support and creative direction to assist publishers’ strategy
• Provide reporting, and share analysis and research with the teamGuide and assist content partners with integration into our systems
• Maintain internal tracking documents, as necessary Liaise and partner with our Marketing team in the US on the execution of local marketing events
• Support branded content Sales initiatives and act as liaison between client and creator
• Support with outreach (i.e. cross-promotional/guesting opportunities for our podcasters, and pitches)
• Attend regular partnership review meetings with podcastersAd hoc projects as required

Who you are
• You have exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
•You enjoy working in a fast paced environment, are highly organized and capable of managing many different projects at once.
•Proficient knowledge and understanding of the Canadian podcast market and audio industry
•Team player who is collaborative, creative, highly motivated and a real self-starter
•Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience working directly with talent, creators and agents is a must
•Fluent in both written and spoken French and English is an asset
•Experience working cross-departmentally in audio production, journalism, digital media, marketing or branded content is a plus 
•Tech savviness is a plus with a focus on audio/digital production
•Degree Educated (preferred but not essential)
•Passionate about podcasting!
