Acceldata is seeking a Financial Reporting and Consolidations Manager to support global consolidations and oversee various accounting functions, including month-end closing, financial statement reporting, account analysis, and variance analysis. We are looking for an individual with a proactive spirit who enjoys cross-functional communication and collaboration throughout the organization. The ideal candidate adheres to a philosophy of ownership and accountability, demonstrating strong analytical, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.

In this prominent IC role, you will excel in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment. Your efforts will focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability, improve quality, and minimize organizational risk.

We’re looking for someone who can:

    • Lead the financial close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, supporting reconciliation, and overseeing operations in the USA, Canada, India, and Singapore.
    • Ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial statements, adhering to GAAP and internal company policies.
    • Coordinate with regions and entities for financial data, reconcile intercompany transactions, and establish consolidation automation with the ERP system.
    • Manage intercompany adjustments, foreign currency revaluation, sales commission processing, capitalized commission schedule, deferred revenue schedule, and stock-based compensation expenses.
    • Oversee accounting for leases under ASC 842, ensuring accuracy. ASC 606
    • Conduct monthly and quarterly flux analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
    • Play a key role in the annual financial audit, liaising with external auditors and managing team deliverables.
    • Support ad-hoc projects assigned by the Controller, and conduct accounting and technical compliance research.

What makes you the right fit for this position?

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
    • 10+ years of related work experience
    • Consolidation experience with a multi-national company
    • Experience operating in FX remeasurement and translation, strong knowledge of consolidations accounting and accounting policies and procedures is required
    • Experience with Excel and NetSuite OneWorld is required
    • Software-as-a-service (SaaS) revenue accounting experience and solid knowledge of ASC 606 are desired
    • CA certification is a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly analytical and pays strict attention to detail
    • Team player with a can-do attitude
