The Software Engineering Manager will lead a software development team. We're not just about coding; we're about creating changes that propels the background industry forward. This individual plays a key role within the end-to-end phase of software development lifecycle. R

Responsibilities

    • Champion Best Practices: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by developing and enhancing software development best practices with your team. 
    • Leadership and Decision-Making: Lead diverse project team, making critical technology decisions to align with strategic objectives. 
    • Innovative Problem Solving: Actively engage in solution design reviews, providing leadership to ensure the most creative and effective outcomes. 
    • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with product owners and other stakeholders to craft product roadmaps that address key business challenges and open new market opportunities. 
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with internal stakeholders to deeply understand and transform business requirements into robust technical strategies. 
    • Talent Development: Drive recruitment and team building initiatives to assemble and nurture a top-tier software development team. 
    • Technical Oversight: Evaluate and strategically reduce technical debt, ensuring our systems are both cutting-edge and sustainable. 

Requirements

    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
    • Leadership Experience: At least 2 year in a managerial role, with a proven track record of mentoring and leading teams.
    • Technical Proficiency (Legacy Meets Innovation):
    • Expertise in Java, and experience with full-stack development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular or React. 
    • Familiarity with SOAP, REST, SOA, XML, XSL, JSON. 
    • Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and messaging queues like RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS. 
    • Proficient in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and web security protocols such as SAML SSO, OAuth, OIDC. 
    • Extensive experience with AWS or other cloud technologies.
    • Agile Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile or SCRUM processes, with experience overseeing software releases. 
    • Soft Skills: 
    • Exceptional problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.
    • Strong influence, relationship management, and communication skills are essential.
