The Senior Manager of IT is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's business technology infrastructure and systems that support Accurate’s global workforce. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT operations. The Senior Manager will lead a team of IT professionals and work closely with other departments to support and enhance organizational performance through technology outcomes.

Responsibilities

    • Strategic Planning and Policy Development: Develop and implement business IT strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with desired organizational outcomes.
    • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage global IT teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and encouraging professional growth. This includes the management of our global service desk, ensuring correct staffing, processes, and adherence to OKRs and SLAs.
    • Project Management: Oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
    • Technology Infrastructure: Ensure the reliable operation of IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, common applications, servers, databases, and cybersecurity systems, where those systems are related to the delivery of Accurate’s back-office IT and office facilities around the globe.
    • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service.
    • Budget Management: Manage the IT budget as it applies to back-office IT, making cost-effective decisions to optimize technology investments and ensuring that spend stays within the budget defined by leadership.
    • Security and Compliance: Ensure IT systems and data are secure, and compliance with internal security standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations is maintained.
    • Innovation and Improvement: Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support business processes and objectives.

Qualifications

    • 10 or more years experience, with a strong background in IT infrastructure, project management, and team leadership.
    • Excellent understanding of IT systems, cybersecurity, and technology trends.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
    • Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex information in an understandable manner to all levels of the organization.
    • Experience with budget management, vendor negotiations, and strategic planning.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

    • Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or relevant technical certifications.
    • Experience in specific industries or with particular technologies relevant to the organization's operations such as the Microsoft 365 suite, Okta, Jira Service Desk

Working Conditions

    • This role may require availability outside of standard business hours to address urgent IT issues.
    • Some travel may be required for meetings with vendors, training, or to visit other company locations.
    • This role is a hybrid office role, you will be expected to be in the Irvine, CA office twice a week.
$117,000 - $170,000 a year
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,000 - $170,000. Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training.  This position may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, commission, or other variable pay plan.
