The Admin & HR Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression for guests, clients, and staff at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. In addition to front desk responsibilities, this position supports various administrative and HR functions, including onboarding, interview coordination, and benefits orientation—helping ensure smooth operations and an exceptional visitor and employee experience.

Job Duties:
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a professional and welcoming experience.
Manage front desk operations, including call routing and lobby upkeep.
Provide administrative support such as data entry, correspondence, scheduling, and filing.
Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires, including benefits overview.
Coordinate interview logistics and support hiring efforts.
Step in to assist with initial sales inquiries when the sales team is unavailable.
Support commission meetings through minute transcription and communications.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks.

Additional Details:
Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with 1 hour for lunch
Occasional after-hours necessary for special events (evenings and/or weekends)

Requirements

    • Experience in administrative support, customer service, or HR-related roles.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
    • Willingness to learn and handle HR tasks such as onboarding and scheduling.
    • Committed to professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
    • Valid driver’s license required.
    • On-site presence required at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
    • Employment offer contingent on background check and drug screening.

$16 - $18 an hour
