Apprenticely (formally ACDS) is adding to our internal team!
Apprenticely wants to add an ambitious and enthusiastic Business Development & Outreach Manager to join our team and work passionately to establish working relationships with corporate partners in industries such as Advanced Manufacturing.
About Apprenticely:
We help job seekers find stable, good-paying careers at no cost through training programs, career coaching, and Apprenticeship opportunities. Apprenticely is a nonprofit that offers solutions to Company Partners interested in hiring apprenticeships. We help connect and guide participants towards apprenticeships. Our DOL registered apprenticeship programs provide the curriculum to teach the required general skills. A portion of the curriculum is customizable, allowing corporations to teach their own specific culture, processes, and tools. Our non-profit helps individuals, employers, institutions, and community partners grow technical skills and get employed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop strong working relationships with industry in order to develop long-term corporate partnerships and collaboration.
- Seek opportunities to establish new relationships with small, medium and large businesses throughout the state of Arkansas.
- Move Corporate partners from awareness to commitment by determining the talent and organizational needs of the Corporate partner.
- Maintain consistent documentation of meetings, collaborations, event attendance, etc. through appropriate team tools (i.e. – HubSpot, G-drive, etc.).
- Review and evaluate requests for apprenticeship programs to include corporate partners and academia.
- Monitor and evaluate all services to make improvements, suggestions, and recommendations
- Participate as a member of various business associations to represent Apprenticely & support all objectives
- Suggest methods to improve existing programs, to develop new training programs, and to recruit and select trainees, and support the Program Manager in reviewing of vision, program goals, and objectives.
- Keep up-to-date on new developments in curriculum, industrial needs, and advancements, through readings, attendance at conferences, and any other means of gathering critical information and disseminating this information to members of the Apprenticely Team.
- Act as a liaison for corporate partners with the Apprenticely Team and other Partners as needed.
What does a successful candidate look like?
- Previous experience in sales, client development, or client management needed
- Strong aptitude for developing rapport and relationships with clients
- Experience with a CRM - preferably HubSpot
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Possess the following soft skills: optimism, drive, patience, persistence, resiliency, consistency
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with effective documentation and collaboration within a team
- Knowledge of Manufacturing environments
Requirements
- Ability to work remotely in Arkansas & monthly in-state day travel as needed
- Must be currently based in the Central or Southern, AR area
- Must have Manufacturing Industry knowledge & business acumen
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have the ability to work in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship. No relocation is available for this position.
