Apprenticely is working with our company partner, the The Scott Family Amazeum to add a Data Analyst Intern to their team in Bentonville, Arkansas!
Our Apprenticely Internship Program is a three-month program that places selected candidates with employers across Arkansas in IT positions to gain experience under the guidance of a professional mentor/IT support team. Internships are designed as an on-ramp to an IT career and can roll into full-time positions based on employer demand.
About our Company Partner:The Scott Family Amazeum is a hands-on, interactive museum in Northwest Arkansas and recognized as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to engage the imagination of children and their families through interactive exhibits, programs, and resources while creating an excitement for lifelong learning and the enrichment of lives! They create a fun environment where risk taking, imagining, problem solving, discovery, collaboration, and exploration bring children and adults together to learn and grow!
Through experiences with the Amazeum, individuals and the community are engaged in building relationships and developing identities as creative, curious, and innovative shapers for the region. Learning at the Amazeum is an active, playful exploration that inspires curiosity. It is rooted in inquiry-based discovery and involves an element of risk. Hands-on learning opportunities allow guests to exercise critical thinking in the context of play.
Role Summary:
The Retail Analytics & Merch Strategy Intern will assist in driving product performance through data-informed decision-making. This intern will gain hands-on experience in sales analysis, inventory planning, open-to-buy strategy, and holiday merchandising. They will collaborate closely with the retail leadership team to understand and influence the operational and financial goals of the Amazeum store.
What You'll Do...
- Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends and inform purchasing decisions
- Assist with vendor tracking and communication
- Support seasonal open-to-buy planning and documentation
- Participate in physical merchandising and restocking during peak periods
- Generate product performance reports and share actionable insights
- Assist with retail event planning and staffing support during holiday programming
Our Must Haves...
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, economics, merchandising, or related field
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets)
- Detail-oriented with an interest in retail data and strategy
- Self-starter with excellent time management and follow-through
- Willingness to engage on the sales floor and work flexible hours during events

- Pay: $15/hour
- Schedule: 40-hour week: typically 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday
- Length of Internship: 3 months
- Location: Bentonville, Arkansas
$15 - $15 an hour
How does the interview process work? ACDS will conduct an initial phone interview and assessment. ACDS will send selected resumes to companies that match the candidate’s skills and interests. Our employer partners will decide who to interview and select the final candidates for the internship program.
