Apprenticely is helping hire an IT Support Technician for a consulting and back office support company.
Job Summary: As an IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for users who require technical assistance. You will provide support through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person, and will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in IT and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
What's a successful candidate look like?
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to support tickets and inquiries promptly, maintaining clear communication with users throughout the resolution process.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist in setting up new employee workstations, including hardware and software installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Document issues, solutions, and processes in the ticketing system for future reference.
- Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Some travel will be required.

$47,000 - $48,000 a year
