As a Senior Financial Analyst at Achievers, you will take the lead in transforming data into actionable insights that directly influence our strategic direction. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive performance, identify opportunities, and support key decisions. Responsibilities:

Planning & Forecasting

    • Lead components of the annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and 5-year strategic planning processes.
    • Build and manage robust financial models to evaluate business scenarios and investment opportunities.

Reporting & Analysis

    • Own the monthly reporting package, ensuring accurate reporting across ARR, sales data, and key financial/non-financial KPIs.
    • Perform in-depth analysis of actual vs. forecast results; identify key drivers and provide insight-driven commentary for leadership presentations.

Business Partnership

    • Serve as a trusted finance partner to cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Product).
    • Translate financial data into business insights, helping teams understand the impact of their decisions.

Special Projects & Ad Hoc

    • Develop models around new initiatives, revenue recognition (ASC606), and customer behavior (e.g., redemptions).
    • Reconcile and analyze large data sets from multiple systems to support strategic business needs.
    • Fulfill financial reports, templates, and analysis requests from corporate and senior management.

Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred. 
    • Experience: 4–7 years in financial planning & analysis or similar roles, ideally in a fast-paced or tech-driven environment. 
    • Certifications: CPA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent credentials are a plus. 
    • Technical Skills: 
    • Advanced Excel & financial modeling expertise. 
    • Experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Vena); familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SQL is a plus. 
    • Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting standards, and ASC606. 
    • Business & Communication: 
    • Proven ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders. 
    • Strong business acumen with a focus on actionable insights and strategic recommendations. 
    • Soft Skills: 
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and influence without authority. 
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a dynamic environment. 
    • A proactive problem-solver with a high level of curiosity and initiative.
