The opportunity:

The Senior Marketing Operations Specialist plays a critical role in driving the success of our marketing initiatives by managing key platforms and campaign operations. This role is responsible for the execution and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring operational excellence, data integrity, and alignment across teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation in marketing automation, a passion for process improvement, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities:

    • Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to build and deploy high-impact campaigns, emails, and assets using our marketing automation platform (Marketo), ensuring alignment with brand and business goals.
    • Own the intake and prioritization of marketing operations requests. Streamline workflows, automate intake processes, and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve marketing operations processes to enhance scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness across the marketing function.
    • Oversee the lead lifecycle, including lead generation, nurturing, scoring, and routing. Troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless integration between systems to support sales enablement.
    • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics. Collaborate with channel owners to deliver actionable insights and ensure data-driven decision-making.
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate lead delivery and data visibility, supporting pipeline growth and conversion.
    • Design, test, and optimize web forms and landing pages to ensure accurate data capture and smooth handoff between systems.
    • Import leads from offline sources and maintain high standards of data quality and hygiene to support reliable reporting and segmentation.
    • Maintain up-to-date documentation for marketing processes and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) in all marketing automation activities.

Qualifications:

    • 2–5 years of experience in a B2B Marketing Operations role, with a strong understanding of marketing processes and systems.
    • Proficient in marketing technologies, particularly marketing automation platforms (MAPs); hands-on experience with Marketo is essential (minimum 2–3 years).
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • Extensive experience in building, optimizing, and leveraging data within marketing automation platforms (preferably Marketo) and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
    • Demonstrated success in developing reporting infrastructure and driving improvements in funnel performance.
    • Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional stakeholders, including those without direct reporting relationships.
    • Experience executing and monitoring lead management processes, including adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
    • Project management experience is a strong asset, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Skilled at translating business objectives into technical requirements and actionable marketing operations strategies.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
    • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver results using limited resources.
    • Comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects across diverse business units.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
