Overview: 
 
As a Proposal Development Specialist at Achievers, you will play a crucial role in shaping our success by creating compelling, well-articulated proposals that showcase the value and uniqueness of our product and service offerings. Working closely with our sales and services teams you will gather information and translate technical details into clear, persuasive proposals. The ideal candidate will have a working understanding of the SaaS (software-as-a-service) landscape, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
Proposal Development:

- Develop high-quality, customized proposals in response to RFx requests (e.g. Due Diligence, RFP, RFI). 
- Work closely with sales teams to understand client needs/objectives and incorporate feedback into proposal development. 
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to accurately represent technical details and functionalities in proposals. 
- Ensure proposals align with client needs, SaaS industry standards, and company objectives. 
- Review and edit proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in messaging. 
 
Content Creation:
- Craft compelling and concise content that effectively communicates the value proposition of our SaaS solutions. 
- Help to create and maintain our content library (we use Loopio) by ensuring product and business updates are captured to align with best practices. 
- Identify and support ongoing process improvements across teams. 
- Assist with other related requests as needed. 


Qualifications

    • A university degree with an emphasis in business, communications, or related discipline. 
    • 1 - 2 years experience as a Proposal Writer in the SaaS industry or related field. 
    • Proven ability to quickly create concise, well-written responses to RFP requirements. 
    • Ability to manage multiple projects involving various stakeholders to meet competing deadlines. 
    • A knack for building relationships and working cross-functionally with other departments. 
    • Strategic thinker with creative solutions. 
    • Comfort in ambiguity and not afraid to create, try, learn, and iterate. 
    • High level of attention to detail. 
    • Extensive experience with MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 
    • Strong ability to express Achievers’ value proposition, differentiators, and strengths. 
    • Experience working with content management systems, and CRM (e.g.Loopio, Salesforce).
