As a Learning Experience Designer, you will play a critical role in designing engaging and effective learning experiences for our customers, and partners. Leveraging your expertise in instructional design, learning theories, and multimedia development, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create innovative and impactful learning solutions that support our customers as well as our organizational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging learning experiences (live, on-demand, blended) that focus on recognition, employee engagement and Achievers software products.
- Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to translate their knowledge into effective learning experiences.
- Uses an array of authoring tools to produce a variety of materials that promote learning through self-study, practice, and performance support.
- Possesses proficiency in building bite-sized video training content incorporating accessibilityprinciples.
- Leverages rapid, agile development techniques and processes to create learning for a rapidly changing environment.
- Continually evaluates solutions for freshness, quality, business impact and scalability.
- Evaluates learning effectiveness using feedback and data to help iterate and improve our training offerings.
- Creates supportive training materials such as quick start guides and infographics.
- Possesses strong project management skills to work autonomously on both standard and custom training projects.
- Partners with customers to provide custom, paid-for training materials including but not limited to Videos, e-learning courses, infographics, supporting documentation etc.
- Stays up to date on emerging trends, authoring tools and AI support options in the L&D field.
Qualifications:
- Have 3+ years of experience in instructional design / training content development.
- Knowledge of training development principles such as ADDIE or SAM and experience designing, developing, and delivering training and enablement content for diverse adult audiences.
- Ability to build relationships, work with SMEs to identify training needs, and collaborate on creating relevant training content.
- Knowledge of developing blended learning experiences in the format of live training, simulations, gamified learning, just-in-time solutions, job aids, and video.
- Experience using Articulate 360, Rise, Camtasia, Docebo or alternate LMS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator. Voice over capabilities an asset.
- Post-secondary education in business, education, or a related field.
- Ability to prioritize, schedule, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment where you may be contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Possess sharp attention to detail with an ability to incorporate inputs and feedback into the final product.
