Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled senior iOS/React Native Engineer to join our client’s team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing innovative solutions to address real-world challenges through technology. Collaborating closely with product and customer teams, you will contribute to the creation of software solutions that meet both business and user needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain React Native-based mobile applications for iOS, catering to our client's user base.
- Collaborate with engineering leads to ensure alignment with project goals and technical standards.
- Implement offline storage solutions, threading optimizations, and performance enhancements to improve app responsiveness.
- Utilize RESTful APIs to establish seamless connections between iOS applications and backend services.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively navigate project challenges.
- Contribute to the design and backend aspects of software projects through active collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Work within a fast-paced environment, effectively managing tasks and priorities to meet project deadlines.
- Embrace flexible working hours and demonstrate a proactive, results-driven approach to achieving project objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in iOS app development.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in React Native development.
- Proven expertise in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning techniques.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration with mobile applications.
- Exceptional teamwork abilities with a demonstrated history of collaboration on complex software projects.
- Experience collaborating on software projects with design and backend aspects
- Quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality
- Works well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred requirements
- Experience with the AWS Amplify framework.
- Proficiency in debugging techniques.
- Strong insights into mobile development best practices.
- Experience in developing offline-first mobile applications.
