If you enjoy bright, cheerful spaces and working with a team that knows how to mix fun with great service, you’ll feel right at home here. As a Branch Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face greeting patrons, helping them register for library cards, answering questions, checking materials in and out, and offering computer and tech assistance. This position is 28 hours with the desired schedule:
Monday 5-9
Tuesday 9-6
Thursday 9-6
Alternating Friday/Saturday 9-6
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of customer service OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay is $13.77 per hour and up based on related and comparable work experience

Physical Demands
- Mobility to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment and stamina to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time; strength to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and push carts that may weigh up to 100 pounds; agility to bend, reach and climb; vision to read printed materials and computer screens; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
